- An empty wardrobe/chest of drawers with space for their belongings
- Hanging facilities or space to hang clothes
- A bedside table with a lamp
- A desk to study (unless they can study comfortably and uninterrupted elsewhere in the home)
- There must also always be sufficient heating and lighting in the bedroom
- Provision of towels and a laundry service/linen change once a week
- Access to proximate public transportation (+/- 30 minutes from the school)
